The founder of HITRECORD will discuss balancing innovation with fundamental safety standards, particularly concerning children
SALT LAKE CITY, UT—The2025 Utah AI Summit (Summit), Utah’s Pro-Human Leadership in the Age of AI, is excited to announce that Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated American actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the lineup of featured speakers. Mr. Gordon-Levitt will speak on December 2 at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.
Mr. Gordon-Levitt is known for his notable roles in films such as Inception, 500 Days of Summer, Looper, and Snowdon. Beyond his work in entertainment, he is the founder of HITRECORD, an open online community designed specifically for creative collaboration. Critically, Mr. Gordon-Levitt is a vocal advocate for ensuring that AI development adheres to basic safety standards, particularly those concerning children.
His addition significantly enhances the Summit’s goal of assembling a diverse group of experts and stakeholders to generate actionable insights and collaborations. The Summit is dedicated to showcasing how AI can be harnessed to serve people—empowering workers, strengthening communities, and driving responsible innovation, anchored in Utah’s Pro-Human Initiative.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt joins a robust lineup of leaders from government, business, and academia. Other featured speakers for the Summit include a special keynote address from Governor Spencer Cox and fireside conversations with NVIDIA Co-Founder Chris Malachowsky and Matthew Prince, CEO of Cloudflare.
