How to Reinstate a Business Entity?

You may reinstate a domestic entity by following these steps:

• Log in to the Business Registration System using your UtahID. If you do not have an account, you will be directed to create one.  
• Once you successfully log in, you will be taken to your Dashboard.
• From the dashboard, click “File on an Existing Business”.
• At the top of the “Filter List” section, make sure that “Legacy” is selected. That should bypass the option for obtaining authority. 
• Enter the name or entity number into the appropriate field and click "Search".
• Select your business using the radio button.
• At the bottom, select the Application for Reinstatement filing type from the drop-down list and click "Next". 
• From there, continue following online steps as directed. 

Foreign entities and DBAs cannot reinstate.
