ECHO Series at University of Utah — The Integrative Primary Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment ECHO (FREE CME)

Project ECHO uses videoconferencing to train community providers in handling specialty healthcare issues in primary care. Specialists host weekly or biweekly sessions where providers present cases for discussion, improving patient outcomes and provider confidence in treating both common and complex conditions in their communities.

Provider Clinical Support System (PCSS)

PCSS-MOUD aims to educate healthcare providers on preventing, identifying, and treating substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorders. It was developed during the opioid overdose crisis to train primary care providers in evidence-based methods for managing opioid use disorders and chronic pain.

PubMed Full-Text Article Delivery

The Eccles Health Sciences Library at the University of Utah is spearheading an initiative to enable Utah-licensed physicians to retrieve full-text articles from PubMed without encountering a publisher paywall. This three-year pilot program launched in January 2024.
