Education Requirements

All Bail Bonds applicants must successfully complete a state-approved training program of at least 16 hours covering topics including:
  • Search
  • Seizure
  • Arrest Procedures
  • Defendant Transportation
  • Constitutional Rights
  • Professional Ethics

  • Elite Bail Recovery
  • U.S. Fugitive Extradition Bureau
  • Utah's Bail Recovery LLC

Firearms Endorsement (Optional)

Any licensee intending to carry a firearm while on duty must hold an active Utah Concealed Firearm Permit and successfully complete a division-approved firearms training program of at least 16 hours (including classroom and range qualifying hours).
