ATTENTION | HB 374 Transition Notice

HB 374 takes effect May 6, 2026. DOPL will provide a transition application for speech-language pathologists and audiologists currently credentialed by the State Board of Education after this date.

Current State Board of Education credentials remain valid until their listed expiration date.

Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC)

As of October 2021, the ASLP-IC has been enacted into law in 15 states, including Utah, surpassing the threshold for activation of the compact. If you are interested in learning more about the ASLP-IC please visit aslcompact.comย
