The cost of the fingerprinting service is determined by the vendor.

You will have to contact the vendor to find out if you can make an appointment with them.

DOPL will email you a list of vendors, along with an authorization form, 2-3 business days after you submit your application.

You can visit your profession's licensing page to find out the requirements for licensure. However, if your license requires fingerprints, you will be notified by email approximately 2-3 days after applying.

Your authorization form will be emailed to you 2-3 business days after you apply.

Background checks are for one use (application) only.

Background checks are single use only, you will need to submit fingerprints for the new application.

You only need to be fingerprinted once per application, unless you are emailed with a specific fingerprint card rejection.
