Apply for a Barber License

If you are currently licensed as the equivalent of a Barber in another state, territory, or district of the United States you may qualify for licensure by endorsement. Refer to Endorsement to Utah: Barber for additional information. If you qualify for licensure by endorsement and are ready to apply, Refer to Cosmetology Professions License for the manual form or apply online .

The following requirements must be met:

  • Verification of graduation OR other jurisdiction license verification
  • Pass the NIC Theory & Practical Examinations
