Apply for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker License (Utah Applicants)

The following requirements must be met:
- Pass the ASWB Clinical Examination
- Record of Clinical Supervision Hours.
- NOTE: If your Certified Social Worker license was issued prior to May 1, 2024, you must complete the following hours:
- 3000 total hours, including 1000 hours of Direct Client Care, and 75 hours of Direct Clinical Supervision.
- NOTE: If your Certified Social Worker was issued as of May 1, 2024, you must complete the following hours:
- 3000 total hours, including 1200 hours of Direct Client Care, and 100 hours of Direct Clinical Supervision (25 of which must include Direct Observation).
- NOTE: If your Certified Social Worker license was issued prior to May 1, 2024, you must complete the following hours:
- Proof of completing 2 hours of continuing education in suicide prevention.
