Effective January 19, 2026, all first-time candidates registering to take licensing exams with Prov must submit the Verification of Plumber Experience form directly to Prov by electronically attaching it to their exam registration.

Additional requirements:

Out-of-state applicants who attended a trade program must also attach official transcripts to their registration.
Applicants who graduated from an approved Utah trade program will have their application placed in a pending status until their school has authorized them to proceed.
